Okaloosa
County
Sheriff’s Department
Representative – RE: ID
cards – Michael Coup and Randy McDaniel presented
the board with a sample Emergency Re-entry pass.
Mr. Coup briefed that each city would have one person
that was responsible for:
·
Keeping track of who in their city will get the pass
·
Sending those people to the Sheriff’s Department to get their picture
taken for the pass and retrieve the pass
·
Recovering and destroying the passes from those that leave their current
position with the city.
When
the board agrees on a design for the passes, the cities should
be able to start sending people over to the Sheriff’s
Department. Mr.
McDaniel believes at some point he will be able to go to the
cities with his lap top, take the pictures and issue the passes.
