Since
we once again did not have a quorum for our monthly meeting on January 3, 2007
(only 3 cities were represented along with Ms Smith), the following is a summary
of what took place: 1.

Topics a.
Attendance
– We discussed various ways to improve attendance, setting the agenda, and
determining the need for a meeting. What we will recommend at the next
meeting is (1) a request for agenda items will go out ten days ahead of the
scheduled meeting date, (2) the final agenda will go out five days ahead of the
meeting, and (3) RSVPs will be required no later than Thursday before the Monday
meeting. If we do not have a reason to meet or the names of at least five
City representatives who will attend, the meeting will be cancelled. b.
Scheduling
conflicts with our quarterly dinners – We will continue to schedule our
quarterly dinners on the third Tuesday of January, April, July and October.
If this creates a conflict for the host City, we will try to work around it. 3.
Other
business a.
Next
meeting will be Monday, Feb 12 at Two Trees (PLEASE NOTE the change to the
second Monday). Several members will not be available on the first Monday. b.
James
Campbell will be the new County representative to our League. .
I
don’t plan on addressing these items at our dinner in Destin on January 18 but
I will be available to discuss them. If you have any questions or need
