Monday, September 10, 2007

CALL TO ORDER

President, Mayor Mike Anderson , noted that there was no quorum so all voting will take place at the next meeting.

MINUTES:  June 4, 2007 - These minutes will be approved at the next meeting.

PRESENT BOARD MEMBERS

Mike Anderson - Fort Walton Beach (President)

Gary Combs - Shalimar (Secretary/Treasurer)

Nick Chubb - Cinco Bayou

Craig Barker - Destin

ALSO PRESENT

Lynda Prestarri - Eglin AFB

Tina Smith - Shalimar

TREASURER’S REPORT:  $2036.77 after paying for the June meeting lunches, web site contract, and office supplies.

Mayor Anderson stated that the agenda items require input from all of the cities so all items will be tabled until the next meeting.

The board discussed ways to increase attendance.  Mayor Anderson will draft a letter addressed to all of the Mayors and find out if they are interested in keeping the league running.  If there is support for the league, they should  provide a phone number for their representative.  Tina Smith will call each representative on the Friday before the meeting to make sure there is a quorum.
