Executive Board Meeting

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

CALL TO ORDER

President Nick Chubb called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. at Hurlburt Soundside Restaurant.

PRESENT BOARD MEMBERS

Nick Chubb (President) - Cinco Bayou

Charles Baugh (Vice President) - Crestview

Gary Combs - (Secretary/Treasurer) - Shalimar

Craig Barker - Destin

Mike Anderson - Fort Walton Beach

Chuck Bolton - Mary Esther

NEW BUSINESS:

-  Resolution 2010-01 (Mayor Barker) - Mayor Barker briefly explained the resolution.  Councilman Nick Chubb moved to approve Resolution 2010-01 as written.  The motion was seconded by Mayor Mike Anderson and passed unanimously.  There was a brief discussion about each city approving a similar local municipality resolution by their respective councils and everyone agreed to pursue this.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

-  March 1, 2010 - OCLOC lunch meeting

ADJOURN - Mayor Chuck Bolton moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m.  The motion was seconded by Councilman Charles Baugh and passed unanimously.

At 7:00 p.m., Mayor Chuck Bolton started the dinner meeting off with the Pledge of Allegiance and Introductions.  Mayor Barker discussed the resolution just approved by the Executive Board and encouraged all municipalities to approve/support a similar resolution.

The New Executive Board Members were sworn into office:

President Nick Chubb - Councilman for the Town of Cinco Bayou

Vice President Charles Baugh - Councilman for the City of Crestview

Secretary/Treasurer Gary Combs - Mayor for the Town of Shalimar

Members received a presentation by MGen Cichowski from Hurlburt Field on the latest support for Haiti.

The Dinner and Meeting adjourned at 8:47 p.m.
